@bougainvillea_retreat comes with a 360° picturesque view that can soothe not just your eyes but your mind and soul too💆🏻‍♂️ From the glorious Knuckles Mountain range to mighty Victoria Golf Course; this Tuscan style boutique villa is nestled among nature's cradle in Central Srilanka.


Even though I don’t speak much about FOOD in my Instagram feed, I feel like I’m not going to do any justice if I didn’t talk about the food of this glorious location. Rather than me explaining, let me post some pictures below for you to witness.











Either it’s a quick trip to a hill country, a planned trip with your friends, or even an escape you crave after a busy life in the city; This location is the real deal!

  If I ever tell you to find me under the palms this is where I'll be. @kiri.palu is the perfect definition of tropical paradise destinations. This mighty Sinhalese ancestral Wallawwa sits within a tropical garden filled with Kiripalu and Coconut trees. Not to mention the many architectural features; the owners are doing a marvelous job in offering luxury modern comforts while safely keeping the old Sinhalese charm. This majestic Walawwa; at the entrance you can find a four-bedroom house and once you walk in you’ll find your favorite hangout spot at this location with an amazing surrounding. Once you walk towards the property you can find a very personal spot ideal for a couple to spend some private romantic time. Views through the mist to fall in love - Victoria Golf & Country Resort

Surrounded by the amazing views of the Victoria Lake which comes with a gorgeous sight of the Victoria Dam and the Knuckles Mountains range from another side; this gorgeous resort is a must in your places to visit in Sri Lanka list. Victoria golf & country resort is located 13 miles away from the Kandy Railway Station. If you’re someone who loves a little bit of an adventure, you can book your train from Colombo to Kandy (which serves you with a breathtaking view along the ride) and arrange a cab to the resort. It was a little gloomy when we arrived at this 500 acres resort property but still, we were blown away from the first sight of the location. I must say the gloominess gives the view of this property a heavenly twist.
